Autumn is coming! Leaves are starting to fall and cozy sweaters are being refreshed and ready for crisp blustery days. This is a time for reflecting, making those holiday lists and preparing for the long winter ahead. That means it’s time to snuggle up with your favorite pot of tea! While the pumpkin craze this time of year may be unavoidable, Fall has many flavors to savor. We of course have Auntie’s Pumpkins pie but we also feature Grandma’s Apple Pie in Scented Black Teas as well as Creamy Caramel and a hand blended favorite Vanilla Caramel. Naturally decaffeinated may be your go to, we also feature Cinnamon Apple with Chamomile this month. We’ve added some fun drinks as well! Mulled Teas, Hot Chai and some warm tea flights may be what you need to sooth your soul.

Our October Courtyard Tea is in full swing! This month we are featuring our Hawaiian Chicken Salad on Wheatberry Bread, A pumpkin and bacon frittata, Harvest foccacia with roasted veggies, and Turkey, apple & brie crostini.

We have some events line up for this month as well, including a private dinner to celebrate a special birthday. Did you know Sugarplums offered Private Events? We also have our Harvest High Tea scheduled for Sunday October 27 at 1pm. This is monthly Sunday event that we love to plan! October’s Harvest Tea is always a fun event that allows you to rest in the season. This menu will start with an Autumn Spiced Tea or your favorite pot of tea. We’ll follow that with a smoked gouda & pumpkin soup with our mini savory scone. We will then move into our homemade caramelized onion and bacon quiche. Our handcrafted 3 tiered platter follows with our pumpkin hummus w/ crudité, pear and brie crostini, and a beet & apple tea sandwich. We’ll finish off on a sweet note – mini apple strudel, mini pumpkin pie, and a maple white chocolate blondie bite. This is priced per person at $30.
